How a story earns its place here

Most crypto outlets rank by recency, which rewards whoever publishes first. We rank by corroboration, which rewards whoever is right. The mechanism is visible on every page — you never have to take our word for it.

01

Ingest

Stories are pulled continuously from independent domains. Sub-feeds from the same publisher are collapsed — they count once.

02

Extract claims

Each story is broken into single factual assertions. A claim has its own page, its own evidence, and outlives any one article.

03

Match and weigh

Every claim is matched against incoming reporting. We record which publishers support it, contradict it, partially agree, or merely republish.

04

Publish with the evidence

3 independent publishers are required to verify. Until then a claim says so plainly, and the story is ordered accordingly.

Supports

The publisher independently reports the same assertion.

Contradicts

A credible publisher reports something incompatible with it.

Partial

Agrees with part of the claim but not its full extent.

Echo

Republishes another outlet. Does not count toward corroboration.

New Developing Verified Disputed False

Disputed is not a failure state. When credible sources disagree, that disagreement is the most useful thing we can show you — so it is coloured as information, not as an error. Red is reserved for claims we have actively disproven. And a claim that is merely unproven says exactly that: reported, not yet independently corroborated.

The corroborated brief

One email each weekday morning: only the stories that cleared two or more independent publishers, plus any claim that changed status overnight.
